Armanda's background gives her a unique perspective in New York real estate: she grew up in a United Nations family, relocating around the world with her father's assignments. Finding a home is her life-experience, and she is especially sensitive to the needs and emotions of people in this position.

For almost 15 years, Squad, as she is often called, has been a top producer in New York City, with international real estate firms, as well as two years with a boutique residential firm. She is currently Senior Vice President and Associate Broker at Prudential Douglas Elliman, a global real estate firm providing New York City clients with local, national, and international exposure. She is experienced in the gamut of manners of how real estate is best provided to clients.

"We were concerned about the process of purchasing property so far away from home. From the beginning Armanda calmed our fears. She took us through the whole process with infinite patience..."
-Chris T.

Squad represents sellers and buyers in all parts of the city. As a long-time dog-owning -- and alternate-side-of-the-street-parking -- resident of the West Village, she knows that neighborhood intimately, and she is extremely well-known to its residents, business-owners, and shopkeepers (westvillagespecialist.com). Additionally, she is an owner and former board member at 350 Bleecker Street, and has sold over 35 apartments there in the last few years (www.350bleeckerspecialist.com). At Elliman, Squad heads "The Squad Squad"; and partners with other brokers on an ad hoc basis as needed on special occasions. She is a frequent lecturer at Esther Muller"s Real Estate Academy for Continuing Education "Tips from the Tops" series, and an advisor for the newly emerging Real Estate Certificate program at Touro College in downtown Manhattan. She has written "Buying Made Painless," a synopsis of the buying process for first-time buyers.

Armanda has an impeccable reputation not only among her clients, but also with other real estate brokers, as a deal-maker and as someone who is easy, pleasant -- and even fun - to work with. Armanda is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Armanda also has a real estate presence in upstate New York, a valuable link for buyers and sellers in both areas; and she owns the Glens Falls Inn Bed & Breakfast (www.glensfallsinn.com), between Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY. Before real estate, Armanda spent almost 20 years in corporate America. She provides practical and easy solutions to questions about budget, availability, location, property standards, and timing.

Squad is devoted to her family – partner Debbie and twins Alex and Peri, and Australian Cattle Dog, Argos – and to dog rescue (www.cattledog.com). She is also an avid motorcyclist, touring with RoadRUNNER Magazine on a regular basis, writing and photographing tour articles, and will often arrive at client appointments on her motorcycle, a Kawasaki Ninja 650R.
